WINTER SOLSTICE CELEBRATION

Around the time of the Winter Solstice we get ready to welcome the light back in – the longest night of the year will soon pass and we’ll slowly see the days become longer. For centuries it has been a time of reflection, but today the run up to Christmas can be a hectic time of doing, leaving us feeling stressed and depleted.

During this retreat we will use the practices of yoga (asana, meditation, and chanting) to revitalize the body and calm the mind. Together, we will focus our attention on being rather than doing.

So why not join us as we prepare to close out the year, welcome in new intentions and ground ourselves for the coming festive season. This two hour workshop will combine intention setting, a flowing dynamic practice, a deeply relaxing yin practice, and a guided meditation to re-centre the mind and body.
