Mindfulness Members Welcome

Welcome to your Mindfulness Membership with

Louise Neicho from Woodland Yoga

I'm so delighted you're going to be joining me for regular mindfulness sessions.

Here’s some more details so you can get the most from your membership (you may want to bookmark this page so you can refer back to it later):

MONTHLY SESSIONS

Here are the list of dates, times and suggested themes for 2023:

A Mindfulness Based Life - Fri 12 May, 10.00-12.00
Our first session will be a review of the journey so far. We'll revisit our mindfulness support and consider how we can integrate what we've learned into daily life.

Embodiment - Fri 16 June, 10.00-12.00
Embodiment is an underpinning quality that creates the conditions to live with presence and awareness. This month we'll explore practices that enable us to cultivate this and be with our inner and outer experience.

Whisperings of the Undercurrent - Fri 14 July, 10.00-12.00
The undercurrent of our thoughts is always present, always active. Through our mindfulness practice we can become aware of it's impact on our emotions, habits and behaviours.

Three Emotional Systems - Fri 15 Sept, 10.00-12.00
As proposed by Rob Nairn, we live our lives through these 3 emotional regulation systems - threat, drive and soothing system. This month we'll explore how they appear in our lives and ways we can become more aware of their impact on our well-being.

HIFAWIF - Fri 13 Oct, 13.30-15.30
Not a Harry Potter character but 'How I Feel About What I'm Feeling'! An important part of our mindfulness practice that allows us to see deeply into our thoughts, feelings and behaviours.

The Importance of Self-Compassion - Fri 3 Nov, 13.30-15.30
Mindfulness alone isn't enough and we need compassion to help us to deepen our practice. This month we'll explore the importance of self-compassion and use practices to cultivate this innate quality.

WEEKLY SESSIONS

Our weekly sessions take place live online as follows:

Midday Meditation, Mondays 12.30-13.30

A meditation class based on Rob Nairns 'Settling, Grounding, Resting & Support' following the current theme of the week.

This will help to give you some time and space to pause in your day and find peace and clarity.

Body Scan Practice (aka Yoga Nidra), Mondays 08.20-08.45

A lying down meditation that anyone can take part in, regardless of experience or ability.

The body scan practice promotes deep rest and relaxation so is a great way to reduce stress and anxiety. It offers you a space to explore and welcome in all sensations, emotions and experiences in a non-judgemental and open way.
